Fragrance is an Orange County based women’s ministry founded by Kiana Maxson. Fragrance is devoted to creating space for women to know the love of the Father, grow in intimacy with Jesus, and be fill with the Holy Spirit. Through retreats, worship nights, Bible studies, inner-healing and deliverance prayer sessions, and discipleship, Fragrance intentionally creates space for God to move, heal and transform lives.

Your events have become a space where God speaks to my heart so gently, the way He has encountered me, I will never forget.
The way He has met me, Encountered me, touched me, has been nothing short of His healing hand. There were literally moments where I have felt His presence resting on my heart - lifting heaviness, restoring hope.

Being a part of the friday morning bible study has been such a gift.
It’s a place where a community of women genuinely comes together to strengthen, encourage, and support each other through every season of life. Our needs shift so much depending on where we are, yet God keeps meeting us right here often speaking to us through one another’s stories, prayers, and honesty. I’ve felt His presence in such a real way through these women, and it’s been a space of true connection, growth, and grace for me.

This Ministry Has given my soul a place to rest with God, and has provided me the room to lay down my defenses, along with my burdens, so that I may meet with him in Worship.
I have witnessed the Holy Spirit come into this space, to show those who are questioning His existence that He is already there, listening. There’s no comparison to being prayed over by a room full of women, who want nothing more for you than to know His love and grace. The love I have been shown at Fragrance is nothing short of God’s and I am beyond thankful.

The Rest to Rise retret was exactly what my soul needed.
It was a sacred day of true rest—an intimate, quieting of my spirit before Jesus, while also being wrapped in the warmth of community with amazing women. I left feeling deeply encouraged, seen, loved, and free. It was a beautiful reminder of the holiness of Sabbath and the invitation to weave that rhythm of rest more intentionally into my life.

I’m Kiana, and I am so happy you’re here. I’ve worked in vocational ministry for over ten years. I have been a worship pastor, an associate pastor and I have gotten to oversee many different ministries within the churches I have worked for. I have a passion for seeing women set on fire for Jesus and filled with his Holy Spirit. I couldn’t be more thrilled to step out in faith and see all that God is going to do through this ministry.

Last month, Kiana released her first album ever as a solo artist that is half worship and half pop called, “The Light & the Things the Light Shines On”. She says that God quite literally wrote these songs for me (listen to the full story voice memo ). Her prayer is that these songs would draw you closer to God and help you feel understood and seen.
